Meet Bitter Fued:

Strictly better than Furnace of Rath ? Definitely works better for Red since it can decide who gets double damage.

So if I'm reading this right, basically, the chosen players double hurt eachother and stuff they control right?

Bellock86 - That's what I read. It's a Furnace of Rath for 2 specific players against each other, and not global like Dictate of the Twin Gods .

I don't think you understand what "strictly better" means, but I digress.

I really like this card. The flexibility it offers is really sweet, and it goes straight into any Gisela, Blade of Goldnight decks. It can be a political card, or just a card to guarantee an alpha strike really goes in your favor.

So it's a bit worse than Furnace of Rath then really, because EDH is a multiplayer game, and to win you have to kill 3 people, not 1.

erabel - I'm using "strictly better" here very loosely. I know some decks which would prefer just plain ole Furnace of Rath , but there are others (like Gisela as you mentioned) who will want it.

Everything I am seeing is really pushing me towards my enlightenment a few months ago of constructing a fun Red-based EDH deck. Nothing is dissuading that notion. Loving these red spoilers!

"strictly" and "loosely" are opposites, literally
