Conformation

Pretty much, DOTP 2015 lets you play with any cards you want. The End. It's a fully legal Cockatrice. The only thing is, we don't know the rules for it. Will it be multi-formatted like Cockatrice is or can you play Channel + Fireball with 4 Black Lotus es?

The only bad thing is, it costs $10. I guess Cockatrice has something on it like that.

It's either going to be worth it or be a total flop.

Yes, it lets you build and customize your own decks, which is a big step forward. What it doesn't say is how big the card pool is. Or how you obtain new cards in-game.

Keep your expectations in check and be pleasantly surprised instead of woefully disappointed.

Hey, I'm sick of running under-par decks for no reason. The archetypes are fun, but not being allowed 4-ofs of some cards really sucks. So I'm happy

DOTP 2015 will not have any new cards other than a few that appear in M15. Constructed deck builder should be similar to what sealed was last year except using the pre-con card pool. This will not be a replacement for Cockatrice.

They wont replace cockatrice because it still limits your card pool. Otherwise they'd be killing MTGO.
