Would Dig Through Time be better or worse if it said this instead of what it does:
Delve (Each card you exile from your graveyard while casting this spell pays for 1.)Look at the top seven cards of your library. Put two of them into your hand, one on top of your library, and the rest on the bottom of your library in any order.

Thoughts?

I could sort of see it making sense with "speculation," but it's a close one.
Am I the only person who thinks that Dig through time isn't in need of fixing? The card is 8 cmc with a double blue casting cost. Delve ends up making this better because it either forces the player to focus their strategy in the early game on making it better (dredge-type shenanigans) and/or play a bunch of cheap and sometimes situational spells to get things in the grave, and/or forces them to wait quite a while before they can cast it. This makes the card very good in some circumstances and a dead draw in others.
I've played with Dig Through Time quite a bit recently, and when you're NOT playing against aggro it can do amazing things. It can occasionally even pull you out from a game where you're behind. And that's good because it's the sort of card a control or more reactive deck needs in order to not just die from inevitability. And against aggro it can be utter trash due to the fact that you will rarely see a point where you can find a good window to cast it. If you CAN find that window, it's likely that you've been a good enough control player to deserve that window and therefore pull ahead.
Generally speaking, Dig Through Time is a powerful card with a fairly unique effect. And that's a good thing, my fellow players. If they had just reprinted Sphinx's Revelation you all know almost everyone would be up in arms about it. Is it so wrong to have access to a slightly similar card in the format? I don't even think it's that oppressive in Modern -- just good. Having new good cards is good. Good? Good.
And for the record, CapnMooMoo, I think these might make the card even better. Sure, there are times when you'll have to put a land on top, but there are other times you dig and see 5 important cards that you like. In this instance, it feels SO much better not to have to bottom 3 of them.

As it is, and this should definitely not be in spoilers. Tagging Epochalyptik for this one.

What part of SPECULATION was not registered?
Tell you what. Find a better forum where this should have been? BE doesn't count.
Granted it's post card viewing speculation but it's speculation none the less. As spooty pointed out it's a close call but it does fit.

This should definitely fall under "Custom Cards", or "General".
The word speculation would imply you are guessing what a card may be... I could possibly even see speculation being applied to how a card may be used or what decks it may go in.
Since we KNOW the wording on Dig Through Time, and we know the alternate wording in the original post is NOT how the card is worded... this is not speculation.

I guess I thought this was the best place. Sorry if its not.
SpootyoneThis was purely hypothetical, I don't think it needs fixing, I was mostly just referring to be forced to top 1 (or 2) cards, and if that would be a better quality card. I figured it would be better, because grabbing a second Dig Through Time off of the first Dig Through Time, knowing you have good cards sitting there, or that you have lands you know you can pass up, or what have you.
Sorry again if this is in the wrong place o _ o

Rayenous ~ noted. However I have a counter logic.
He is effectively speculating on why it wasn't worded as one of his examples. "Would it have been better/worse if.....". This is a straight forward enough approach that it justifies being placed in this forum for me.
The OP stated that he just figured this was the most appropriate place and given the speculative nature of the post it's not a hard conclusion to come to.
