$70 Budget Standard

I just recently got back into playing in the Standard format for the first time in almost five years. My buddy is wanting to do the same, and wants me to build a deck on a budget for him. Like a $50 to $70 budget. I really don't have a clue where to begin. Just looking for a general outline or idea? I'm running a human deck at the moment, so anything but that. Thanks for the help.

If your friend is on a tight budget then aggro decks are generally the way to go: W Humans, G/W Humans, R/B Vampires, G/R Wolfs, and RDW are generally as cheap as it gets.
Otherwise there is also U/W Spitirts as a tempo deck that can be built on a budget. I believe U/G Crush can be fairly inexpensive, and there is also a UR Thermo-burn deck that sees play every so often that is definitely a budget deck.
If anything jumping on youtube and searching "MTG Budget Standard" can get you quite a bit of results as well.

Kaladesh releases Sept 30th.
Otherwise, I'd agree with mavoricke, and just say wait for the new expansion (or proxy off the cards from that set) before getting into standard.
