Vejhi,
I'm still not sure on Conduit of Storms and Tangleclaw Werewolf.
In general, I'm loving the Eldrazi Werewolves more and more each day, and I'm sure I'll brew a build for them before too long (especially if I happen to crack a bunch on prerelease). It's just so cool that (1) we've got a couple tools now to transform them and (2) they don't transform back. I'm still a little worried that 4x Geier Reach Bandit Flip and 4x Waxing Moon are not going to be enough to reliably transform them though ... I think we may have to put them in a RG Ramp shell so we can periodically hard-transform them.
In that kind of a build, Conduit of Storms would be perfect. And probably Ulvenwald Captive too. I'm kind of thinking Tangleclaw Werewolf could fit in a more traditional Werewolf build, which probably makes it more of a sideboard card in a RG Ramp build (as kind of a Gruul boardwipe against Weenies).
TBH, I don't really know though. I'm still getting my mind wrapped around these new Eldrazi Werewolves!

clayperce i agree, thats also why i'm hessitant with too Many eldrazi Wolves, also i would deffenetly run Ulrich of the Krallenhorde in a ramp deck, that guy is insane, Arlinn Kord Flip + Vildin-Pack Alpha and Ulrich Can in that scenario make a 12/12 with haste and vigilance that fights and kills everything before Combat. But i might be dreaming here heheAlso if u have a Howlpack Resurgence on the board he has another +1/+1 and trample xD

musilc looks good, but with the testing i made with Lightning Axe and Fiery Temper they didnt perform Well, Incendiary Flow thats Comming in EMN could take the temper spot and maybe Exquisite Firecraft for the lightning axe's. Dont forget Waxing Moon :)

Hey all, otherotter here,
Trying out how to embed the link in the thread. Plus, I have been tuning the list, trying out different spell counts, etc. It seems to be capable of some pretty powerful turns with Duskwatch Recruiter,Geier Reach Bandit, Spirit of the Hunt, Arlinn Kord, Collected Company, Den Protector, and Collective Defiance. Ulrich can be pretty sweet with the correct board set-up via Vildin-Pack Alpha and Waxing Moon. It can pump Den Protector or Shrill Howler for big attacks through stalled boards at planeswalkers and opponents.

All,
Sorry for the spam if you already read this already over on my ZadaWolf deck, but I wanted to share some thoughts on sideboard (or even mainboard) tech against moderately heavy removal. Besides "Splash Blue", of course! :-)
- Toughness pumps, for creature Burn (including spells like Languish and Grasp of Darkness): I think Spirit of the Hunt and Vines of the Recluse/Aim High, and +1/+1 counters from Nissa, Voice of Zendikar are good enough to run mainboard. Other options include Shape the Sands and counters from Earthen Arms/Lead by Example. And there are of course all sorts of Artifact buffs. Or just run big-butt Creatures.
- Artifact/Enchantment hate, for spells like Silkwrap and Aligned Hedron Network: I like Natural State/Naturalize/Root Out, but I've seen Smash to Smithereens used to good effect too.
- Hmmm ... good luck, for spells like Declaration in Stone and Murder? Seriously, Woodcutter's Grit is the only real option I know of in Standard. Maybe Ulrich's Kindred could work in a few cases, and Inspiring Call could probably work in a counter-heavy build. And of course Creatures with Dash can't be hit by Sorcery-speed removal.
- Beyond that, sac' outlets are always a good way to get some value from your Creatures on the way out. I had Evolutionary Leap in the sideboard for most of SOI Standard for that reason. Eldritch Evolution and Emerge Creatures may be good options for EMN.
- And of course there's always the traditional Gruul responses to threats: Crush, burn, and go fast. Because you don't need answers if your opponent's dead! :-)
Am I missing anything?

So I'm looking mainly for sideboard help and a few suggestions. I've noticed a few ideas here, and I might take them. However, I'm looking for a bit more direct feedback on the deck, and everyone's thoughts on it. Also, what do we all think about the new werewolves? Are they something we should include? I wasn't impressed as they seemed to be lategame wolves that weren't as good as regular eldrazi. The only thing I really liked was the legendary werewolf (meant for EDH, I think?), and waxing moon, and I'm not sure either of those really get us much. Ulrich is a 5 cost, which isn't bad, but I'm not sure it's what we were looking for. Waxing moon transforms one werewolf and gives all other creatures trample, it's a good combat trick at least. Also spirit of the hunt is also very nice, but part of me was hoping for a little bit more.
Feel free to leave critique here, and check out the description, tell me if there is anything missing.
July 28, 2016 11:32 p.m.
Anyone taking Wolves to FNM tonight? If so, PLEASE let us know how it goes!
Also, any playtips for the Bant Company matchup? You know, if a deck like that just happens to turn up ... :-D
The only things I can really think of are:
- now signals Spell Queller in addition to Reflector Mage :-(
- still signals Archangel Avacyn Flip and is Dromoka's Command
- Post-sideboard, still signals Ojutai's Command and is Negate
- If you're playing 2/2 Wolf Tokens, expect Declaration in Stone post-sideboard
Did I miss any?
Good luck (and skill) to you all!
July 29, 2016 6:17 p.m. Edited.
I'm not, I would play that list I posted, but I wanted a bit of feedback! However, I think against bant we have to be quick and lethal. We need to be slaying them as fast as possible.
Part of me wonders, pump spells for sideboard? To speed up our game?
July 29, 2016 6:28 p.m.
Against Bant company, you need sweepers. Chandra, Flamecaller is useful as a sweeper that can be used to deal 3 damage to sweep most of the opponent's creatures (most Bant Company creatures have 3 toughness max) (and can't be Spell Quellered), or go for 4 to ensure they die if they have a Dromoka's Command. Chandra's Ignition also works.

At FNM last night, I played with the shop owner's wolf deck and someone else played mine. The wolf deck on my profile is similar to his, not mine. I made some mis-plays, got owned by white/black control and the Nantocrat Husk deck. My deck has Pack Guardian and is more reactive than proactive. Gonna switch it up to the deck on my profile.
If anyone wants to take a gander at it and see where it's weak/strong points are, please do so.

Nicholade,
A huge CONGRATULATIONS on your 2x FNM wins!
Could you tell us about the match-ups and any playtips?
August 2, 2016 7:19 p.m.
Yes ofc :) and thank you so much :)I think im only going to talk about my lates fmn, since i think it's more relevent to people :)
In my local gaming store, there always is about 12-18 people playing FNM, just so you can put the picture together and i have won 2 fnm with this deck now :) I Recommend all players to atleast try this out, with their own changes or simply as my deck is. :) I am making changes to deck every 1-2-3 weeks, if i experince it needs something or lack something against the meta, i recently updated this deck, so it would stand a chance, at the new ELdritch moon cards :) and some came in the deck aswell :D
My most common matchups have been G/W Tokens.I think my winrate against them were 65-70%The most of the game, i played my werewolf's so quickly they could not begin to build up there tokens and put up there planeswalkers, so they would mean anything. The only real problem was the thopthers. They could rek you so hard, you had to remove them instantly. So a way to win against it, is to play a 1-drop, attack, keep playing and attacking and so on, until they play a thopther and use your tormenting voice on your turn, madness your fiery temper, kill it, and slowly snowball to victory. There are ofc other thing you can do, and other scenarios, but i finded this way, the best way to play against G/WTokens.
I ofc also got matchet up agianst a couple of homebrewers like my self. And in the match up against decks you have no idea what's in them, you really just gotta hope, they are not playing some really good counter aggro, like White humans. They counter this deck, and i was lucky to win against my oppenent after a massive beatdown on the first match.
Bant wasn't really a problem, most people's bant decks were to slow for this one.
If you want any tips or help just ask :D But i will always say you this if u wonder how to get better at it, PLAY it's a game and it's fun, and the best to learn is to play it by yourself and experince the matchup by yourself. Have FUN :D!
