BANT Spirits - Advice

Hi everyone, I'm looking for some advice on this take on Bant Company. Specifically I'm looking for a deck I can bring to GameDay and if it does well to future tournaments.

My local meta is full of BANT Company, which is why I thought a more controlling version of the deck would have the edge in the mirror.

Full disclaimer, in the years I've been playing MTG I've only been confident with Control Decks. I feel like this is good, but am not nearly as confident as I would normally be.

Here is my list. CoCo Spirits and some specific advice

  1. it is tempo bassed not controll. creature decks at the moment make poor contol decks due to languish. flyers due to a slights smaller size are agressive not defensive.

  2. Reflector Mage is to good to be ignored

  3. Permeating Mass is acually an amazing ground creature control ad funny with rattlechains

  4. your compony count is low as company is better suited to tempo not a controlling deck with counter spells

  5. Bygone Bishop is spirits best card advantage.

  6. Dromoka's Command is still amazing

  1. Totally get I'm weak to sweepers, Kozilek's Return and Languish are very real. I suppose I thought I was insulated with Spell Queller and the 8 sources of force spike.

  2. I'm running 3 copies of Nebelgast Herald, I thought this would take the same slot as Reflector Mage. Obviously weaker but given the synergy thought it would be overall better. Do you think I should still run reflector and if so does it simply replace this?

  3. I do have 3 copies in the sideboard for the creature matchups, should it be mainboard?

  4. What should my creature count be? On that thought, I'm running 25 lands I could strip one.

  5. I originally had 3 but stripped them for Tamiyo, Field Researcher.

  6. Dromoka's Command is a great card, but fight mechanics are weak if my creatures will die in every scenario (even with the +1/+1). Favored clash of wills over this to take a more defensive stance.
