Bantifest! Control? Mid-Ranged? What's the deal with it?

Standard Deck Help forum

Basically the point of this is to ask for a bit of guidance in building a Bant manifest deck that makes use of Whisperwood Elemental, Mastery of the Unseen for manifest. Then using blue to do things like maybe Secret Plans and Stratus Dancer. Just for the record It isn't I who is planning to build the deck, but my friend who doesn't know exactly what to do.

All I'm really asking are good suggestions for the deck and if it would be wiser to go into more of a control or midrange type of deck based on colors. I've been suggesting control so far to him, but I don't play control so my advice isn't exactly sound. I wanted to know if anyone had any advice is all :3

Use Trail of Mystery for mana fixing, Sagu Mauler for a big beatdown creature with evasion, Kiora, the Crashing Wave for card draw or safety or RELEASE THE KRAKEN. ahem.

Winds of Qal Sisma can help you stay alive while you get your morphs/mana sorted.

Gudul Lurker is cheap and has evasion.

Thousand Winds can be a board-clear against an opponent swinging all-in.

Cloudform makes another hard-to-remove creature and stays attached when you morph it face up - get it onto a Sagu Mauler and you're laughing! :D

Also Obscuring AEther to make morphs cheaper. Or Qarsi Deceiver for more mana fun.

Also, if you want to manifest or morph most of your cards, then you want to run as few no creature spells as possible, so only your enchantments (Obscuring Aether, Trail of Mystery, Secret Plans, Mastery of the Unseen...) and the good manifest cards (Wildcall, Lightform, Cloudform,...). So, I'd advise you not to play spells like Dissolve, but instead go for cards that morph for effects (Stratus Dancer, Kheru Spellsnatcher, Icefeather Aven,...). that way, you are never left with dead cards in your hand.
