I feel that Beastcaller Savant could potentially be a point of failure here VS Rattleclaw Mystic in the same slot. Swinging with Scythe Leopard is going to be preferable and I can morph into the Mystic to ramp into an Omnath/Atarka which just seems infinitely better in this shell.

Thoughts?

id use rattle claw because of the restrictions on beastcallers mana and since your running a good amount of noncreatures rattle claw is the better choice

I agree with the above statement. I feel the upside to playing Beastcaller Savant is being able to play another creature On turn 2 when you drop him. In this build, there's enough noncreature spells to negate the amount of times that happens in my opinion, making the Savant a lesser choice. Plus for ramp, I like Rattleclaw Mystic better in the long run with the morph ability and lack of restrictions on the mana use. Also, the 2/1 body can make a difference at times.

Playtesting with the Rattleclaw Mystic shows that actually, 90% of the time I would rather have the Beastcaller Savant

When I drop the 2drop mana dork, its very beneficial to be able to follow up with a Scythe Leopard or a Jaddi Offshoot. More so if dropping the Offshoot before a land drop and then hitting a fetch for 2 life.

Or swing with the haste followed by a Titan's Strength

Going to playtest further, maybe 2 Savants and 2 Mystics......
