BFZ RDW Sideboard Cards

Standard Deck Help forum

I put together Kenji Tsumura's RDW list that MTGGoldfish released earlier this week (with the exclusion of Abbot of Keral Keep in the place of Ire Shaman), but I'm having trouble making the sideboard for it.

I know my LGS is still going to be overpopulated by Abzan and the mirror, so this is all I really have at the moment:

3x Roast

3x Boiling Earth

2x Arc Lightning

2x Smash to Smithereens

1x Rending Volley

But then that leaves me with four cards missing, and I'm not really sure if this is universal enough to be good tech. Could you guys give me some help?

Exquisite Firecraft ? doesnt seem like it would hurt to have it for some extra reach

Eh, I'm not entirely sure if it's fast enough for what it does, though.

youre playing ire shaman lol anyway I know that it costs alot and that this deck isnt centered on burn but I am just saying this is good for those decks that kill your creatures or have a lot of life gain or counter spells

If everyone's playing midrange decks, RDW should NOT be your first choice of deck to run.

And why not? I did perfectly well pre-rotation against the same meta.

well... Pre-rotation RDW players had Stoke the Flames and Lightning Strike for reach when opponents stabilize on the ground. That said I say play what you like, Abzan and Atarka Red being top decks atm doesn't mean you won't do decently at the odd fnm.

Suggestions as a red player would be Act of Treasons to turn one of their blockers into your attacker for a turn. Potentially Outpost Siege for slower matchups or against the mirror to get ahead on resources.

Ire shaman is a bit slow to do an effective impression of Abbot, if it doesn't pan out maybe Makindi Sliderunner for the mainboard? It naturally has trample, which might be useful for the voltron-y strategy I'm seeing with this list?

Just a few suggestions I can think of
