Budget Black deck needs advice!

Hello guys,
I will start off by saying that I am not really a standard player, because a friend of mine has recently started playing my magic and wants to attend FNM I have decided to build a budget deck to attend with him. There's several reasons I don't intend that on spending a lot of money for standard, the main being that standard cards lose value when they cycle out of current standard. Another reason is because I don't intend to play this format for an extended period of time. Historically I have been a modern player. So, with that being said, I have put together a SUPER budget friendly deck that may have the possibility of at least returning some value by winning a few games and earning boosters.

This is what I have so far, I'll be developing the gameplay primer as it's play-tested.
Suggestions that i am looking for are any budget friendly cards that could potentially increase the lethality and efficiency of the deck. I don't intend to splash colors, but it's not entirely an idea that I oppose. If I did, I would probably splash red.
Suggestions I can already tell you I know and understand the usefulness of but won't spend the money to acquire the cards for a format I won't routinely play - Fatal Push. It's just not worth spending 40+ dollars for a playset of cards when that's double the price of the rest of this deck.
Right now, the deck is less than 20 bucks! When I've playtested it against other standard made decks at home against friends it has actually operated at a pretty efficient level, winning several games against pretty good deck archetypes. So the goal here is to keep it cheap, but effective.

If you're going to use Archfiend of Ifnir you probably want to include some Cycle lands that you can tap for and another colour.
They will help you activate his ability in the late game.
Key to the City would be another good addition, to let you discard.

Something specific I think this needs help with is a slugger, something big for the mid to end game that can essentially finish off an opponent. I've thought about Archfiend of Ifnir.
