Budget deck for pptq

Standard Deck Help forum

Posted on Aug. 2, 2015, 11:56 p.m. by magiceli

I am looking for a budget, competitive standard deck for the upcoming pptq. Under 50 bux and able to take down most tier 1 decks. Please post decklists or ideas for decks that can be built. Thank you in advance.

Yeah that doesnt really exist theres a reasons decks are expensive....the best I think you can build is mono red but even that can be pricey

Elves actually has the capacity to take down most of the field. Loses to the right mono red builds though, so there's that.

Here's my build: Elf Pants

Azorius Heroic might be a way to go if you play a non - Jace, Vryn's Prodigy  Flip version. Check out mtgtop8.com

magiceli I outright slayed all the competition at FNM with this deck I made. It's around $35: Abzan Enchanted Remedy

No offense intended 8bitMick....but the competition at your store must not be very high >.<

Thanks for all of your feedback. I think I will be going with either elves or mono red.

I have a budget mono-red deck that I've done very well with, but it isn't really budget anymore. Exquisite Firecraft jumped up to $10, and Abbot of Keral Keep jumped to $8. I bought both when they were $3.
