I'm looking to build a standard deck on a $20 budget. I know it won't be much good but I'm wondering what the best I can do is on that budget. Any ideas? Make Them SHRINK! [AKH] [Budget] my best idea so far. It is a version of a non-budget deck I brewing early in Amonkhet spoilers.

N4kk1 I updated the forums post (as you can see) and i'm looking for something that has a chance against an aggressive green-red deck (with a few gods). That deck above is something I like and may give you a sense of my taste.

My mono red deck is pretty close to your budget with the ability to update it to run Aetherborn reservoir as a win condition.

I just made a budget version of a second deck I liked Infinite Cycling [AKH] [Budget] but i'm not sure it works without the bicycle lands. I'm testing that now.

Take look on that
Made it just now so it needs little tweaking a lot but it's just base for deck.

Try 2 Westvale Abbey as cheap win conditions also Trespasser's Curse and Throne of the God-Pharaoh seem like good options

Westvale Abbey costs $5 but I own one and so I am going to add it. Trespasser's Curse doesn't work and the throne isn't good.

You are incorrect.
Throne of the God-Pharaoh is very effective, especially in decks with lots of Creatures.

I feel like the cheapest effective deck in standard is GR Energy Aggro:
The deck is made out of commons and uncommons and has a total of 3 rares: 4x Bristling Hydra and 4 Greenbelt Rampager which are a dollar and 3 Lathnu Hellion which is 0.5 each. The deck is super competitive too. Round out with 4 of each:
Attune with Aether, Harnessed Lightning, Longtusk Cub, Servant of the Conduit, Voltaic Brawler, Blossoming Defense, Invigorated Rampage and 21 lands, which can be basics even.

As comments above have stated, in the current meta the easiest way to build on a budget is probably something like G/R energy or a mono-colored deck.
But, home brews are always fun and in my experience testing with a wide variety of play styles and specific builds in ways that interests you, is not only a great way to find out how you like to play but can improve how you play overall (or at least I think it has helped me).
A great source for some really fun budget decks is youtube, some of my favorites are mtg goldfish's channel and SBMTG the later has a series based around mono-color bulk rare decks, (around $10 each).
Also of course there are some great resources on here including some awesome brewers and overall players. Best of luck to you!

What kind of deck you are thinking about?
I have made some budget decks for standard even tough they are more like 50$ or so you can check them out.
And if you want i can make few decks for you, for inspiration if you want. :)
