I want to make this Esper Control deck not only competitive, but unique as well. I want it to be different, but still kick ass. I don't want another copy-and-paste net deck, nor do I want to use a deck from the pro tour, not card for card anyway. This is what I've come up with so far, and it's treated me quite well up to this point, Esper Control - Kaladesh Standard but I feel like it could be a bit better. All feedback is welcome!
I would cut Gisela; she's not very good against Harnessed Lightning and as a control finisher she's quite bad.

Ok, two things, first there is nothing wrong with playing good cards. For example you may say that playing instants in your control deck and not playing Torrential Gearhulk in your deck makes it different from other decks. I on the other hand would say you are playing a worse version of the deck without playing gearhulk because the card is just bonkers and you will lose the advantage war against other control decks. That being said, you should add Torrential Gearhulk regardless. Secondly, I would cut harsh scrutiny and 1 main deck negate and either add more planeswalkers as threats or a gisela/ bruna package and try to win with brisela.
