Deck idea to kill out of nowhere

If you controll 11 mana and 2 creatures (in a ramp deck turn 6-7 in our current standard) you can summon Nissa, Steward of Elements use her ultimate then summon Majestic Myriarch you can then swing for 20 in the air out of nowhere!!! Anyone want to give this strategy a try? Or at least help build a deck for this

Then you can replace the Rhonas the Indomitable maybe? Then put in ramp creatures such as Servant of the Conduit and whatever the 3 cost one that makes 2 colorless(can remember the name or find the card online)

Build the deck and I'll take a look at it.
Sounds too inconsistent to work very well, to me.
All the Opponent has to do is block, destroy, Exile, kill, or Counter Majestic Myriarch and your strategy goes down the drain.
Not to mention that you can't block with your Ramp Creatures, as you need them, and most Standard games these days are all but over by Turn 7.
You also need the cards to fall in an EXACT manner for this to work.

You could easily put this combo in a deck that isn't based around it. Simic Mystic myriarch deck that ramps into multiple large creatures. Nissa can be used in that deck without her ultimate just to dump creatures. Cards like Reason would be fun in it too. Just a thought. I'll look into building it today. I need a new standard deck anyway. I haven't played standard in months and didn't realize that gruul was such a big thing, my esper deck went 0-6 and I immediately took it apart.. Im not proud of that deck...

here's a very very prototype list. I literally put it together in 5 minutes just as an idea of where to start. Beastcaller Savant gives haste which is good, Ramunap Hydra gives trample vigilance and reach. Got a lot of ramp and card selection to pick up the pace. kind of a fun idea for a midrange deck.

I would make the deck but I am very umfamilier of almost all cards that are not from ahmonkhet and on so sorry but the beast caller servant looks like a great add in maybe side deck a Lay Claim for those controll play one planeswalker and win decks

By the way, the deck I posted is not relevant anymore. I needed to make a good deck for standard and while making the combo you described I just kinda turned it into something to try at the next fnm. I was focused on consistency more than cool surprise combos as I started to try to tune it. Regardless it worked okay before I began revisions, just wasn't super reliable.

As I said above, Qolorful the idea sounds too inconsistent to work very well, to me.

I agree too inconsistent to be a deck of its own but it could be good as an option in a ramp deck

What you are describing IS the idea that is too inconsistent.
It's not Ramp you need to make it work.
It's an effective way to STALL while you Ramp. You could possibly pull the idea off in a
Control shell.
However, Control doesn't usually utilise Ramp Creatures.
I think this would be a fun deck to build and play Casually with friends, but I don't think it's an idea that would work very well at FNM.

It doesn't work well in simic anyway. myriarch needs a lot of creatures to be effective. I think it would work better if you used bant and used Cryptolith Rite and some token makers, then one or two other keyword creatures to help it out.

You could use it. I was thinking of things like Servo Exhibition and other cards that are 2 or more creatures for one card.

Well the list we are talking about wouldn't need manadorks really. it would be a different deck altogether.

No but I went 2/2 at 2 fnms and 1/2 at a 3 round Saturday showdown (there was only 5 people)It plays well and is consistent gets wrecked by controll but I have side deck prepared for aggro decks and the Myriarch Nissa combo just steals games I stole 2-3 games with that combo I think

I have been playing around with a deck that includes Nissa as a win/con. It is essentially an energy shell with Bounty of the Luxa for ramp and card advantage. It does decently well on MTGO but I have not entered it into any competitive leagues and I think it is a strictly worse Temur Energy build if I am being honest. You could easily sub Vizier of the Menagerie for Majestic Myriarch. Nissa has won a fair number of games for me though. I enjoy playing with the card a good bit and this deck has been fun to play.

i went 3/1 at my FNM and the deck is a lot of fun to play. Nissa stole many games.

Just went 3/1 again and went to game 3 against mono black zombies in round 4. The deck is performing extreamly well

i thought nissas ultimate only made 2 lands as 5/5s, meaning that the myriarch would only be a 6/6. This would then only be 16 damage in the air. So unless you have some cheap creatures out before then it may be possible. Could be a g/u energy deck with the Myriarch added in since theres mana creatures in most of those decks.
