Devouring Light or Swift Reckoning

Tinkering with my UW control deck and trouble figuring our which one is better.
Devouring light is better. It is cast able for 0 mana making it a great tempo play - you can answer their threat while holding back mana for a counter. It exiles making it a good answer for recursive creatures (Bloodsoaked champion, deathmist raptor, rakshasa deathdealer, hangarback walker).
Reckoning is useless against vigilant creatures (Brimaz) and while it is a 2 drop, you won't have the spell mastery to play it before your 3rd turn after an opponent attacks. I had hopes for it but it is not a very good card because it isn't really usable against aggro early in the game when you need it.
I'd look at Silkwrap to go with dlight. Yes, sorcery speed but it exiles and it is mana efficient.
Another option is Last Breath. That card isn't really usable late (aside from exiling your own creature to gain four life against burn) but it is an on time answer against red decks and ramp creatures. It lets you down when facing pump-able creatures.
Finally, look into Raise the Alarm. Instant speed blocking can act as a kill spell. It is great against red as it can kill rabblemaster or piledriver. It remains usable later as chump-blocking or a means to whittle away your opponents life.

Why not go something like 3x light, 2x reckoning?
