Does this deck want Collected Company or is it just a bad deck?

Here's the deck: ELVElutionary Leap (ft. Lili).

It was originally a normal CoCo Elf deck, but I wanted to make it more combo-y and fun.

Should I be playing CoCo or just maxing on Chord of Calling to find combo pieces, etc.

It's basically just a bad elves deck. Max on Chords and CoCo, and play better cards.

BG Elves can definitely work, and you can support it pretty well, so you need to weed out the bad cards.

What he meant to say was you're playing 2 different decks in 1. Choose 1. Combo or elves.

There is also an elf combo deck but it's not this. I believe Genesis Wave worked better than collected company in that particular build.

Ok well no offense to jex I didnt think his post really said much abd I also dont completely agree with it. So basically standard elves only wins with shaman of the pack the aggro route just doesnt work that being said you dont really need evolutionary leap. Its not a horrible card but in theory collected company and chord do the same thing and some times slightly better. Also its not worth it to me to play 2 leaps and one lilliana because then the interaction youre going for wont be consistent enough because you wont always hit shaman or lili with coco or leap but you always will with chord so definitely play 3-4 chord. So between chord company and sylvan messenger you will be getting 2-3 shaman a game almost gaurenteed and more consistently. Temur sabertooth is fine but only one as a fun-of other than that its hard to support him. Other than that your deck is pretty standard and pretty good as good as BG elves get I would definitely max chord and company and cut the leaps and lili. Goodluck!

Thanks, EmblemMan! That's generally what I expected the feedback would be and it seems correct. I just really love Lili and Leap and am trying to play them as much as possible. One day Leap will find a home, but this almost deffo isn't it.

I probably sounds a little harsh but JexInfinite is right. You're better off going all in on Elves than trying to get too cute by adding in Lili and Leap (which I'm not sure helps you very much). Collected Company is probably a much better option for that kind of deck.

I agree, mindcrush. I just love being cute with archetypes, but I'm not good enough of a brewer.

You're not alone in that, don't worry :)
