Early Game Cards for Board Prescence
Standard Deck Help forum

Hi! I need help with my deck Justice. Late in the game, I am fine with my powerful angels on the board, but I have not found anything to do on the first three turns besides use enchantments or removal. If I am playing against an aggressive deck, my late game creatures may not be able to turn the tide after turn three. Any commentary is welcomed and needed! Thank you!

- To link your deck, you have to submit the deck's slug, not the name. The slug is the last part of the deck's url without the last "/".
- Use full syntax to avoid confusing cards, decks, symbols, and user names.

Thank you so much! Any suggestions for building early game board prescence?

Hi, I don't really know these big-creature, heavy decks so well, but I'll give it a shot. First thought if you want to get to turn five with five lands down you may want to add some more land. You could thin out the enchantments a perhaps to do this.
For early creatures: maybe Orator of Ojutai if you just want to put a flying blocker down; or Wild-Field Scarecrow if you want a way to ramp a little too; or maybe Dragon's Eye Sentry for the side board if you are being rushed by red.
They are my immediate thoughts, good luck with the deck.

For early Creatures I like Topplegeist, Consul's Lieutenant, and Knight of the White Orchid.
Early Flying and First Strike can't be underestimated.
For Opponent boards that go wide quickly with tokens, Declaration in Stone is essential. It's expensive because it works.

Good ideas, I hate seeing Consul's Lieutenant go down on turn two. Would Knight of the White Orchid work in a two color deck?

Doh, didn't realize Consul's Lieutenant was two white as well.
