Eternal Scourge in Esper Control?

i think Filigree Familiar would be a better 3drop, but i was thinking outside the box for maximizing value....
what do you guys think of using Eternal Scourge + Lost Legacy as a potential combo for card advantage(draw 4 for 3cmc) and creature base that comes back in an otherwise near creatureless esper control deck?
even without Eternal Scourge, does Lost Legacy have any real playability in esper control?
also, what cards would you name for your opponent? what are the highest priority cards to be exiled? Ruinous Path and alike? planeswalkers?
oh, wow. i totally misread it as well. totally changes things. nice catch, thanks. i would've looked like a fool tomorrow night trying to draw 4 cards.

No problem. I wish the targeted player DID draw a card for each copy exiled, because that would have made Lost Legacy a great card to build around. Being able to draw 4 cards and thin your deck by an additional 4 cards for just 3 mana would have been nuts in control decks. It would make building control decks more interesting, because you could play a full play set of a silver-bullet card mainboard and if you go up against a deck that the card is horrible against you can just exile all the copies out in exchange for drawing cards. It would have given an interesting twist on traditional deck-building philosophy.
Oh well, that sort of draw power probably would have been too strong for WotC's expectations for Standard.

I mean if you play those two and do exile all four copies it is draw 4 plus draw 1 for each copy in hand. You just draw them to exile

I think even with just getting at least 4 psuedo card draws is good enough if the meta is slow enough. Plus you do get to draw cards if you end up with any in hand. Cool card.

could return creature cards from graveyard to hand, load up on Eternal Scourges and cast Lost Legacy. i dont have Liliana, the Last Hope and im not saying to -2 to return a scourge to your hand... but maybe theres some easy synergy with it undiscovered

Unfortunately, Lost Legacy only draws the targeted player cards for each copy exiled from their hand, not all copies exiled, so unless the player had all 4 copies in hand they wouldn't be drawing 4 cards. I misread it as well when I first saw the card spoiled, and only caught my mistake after re-reading the card a couple of times.
