Flying Vs Trample

My Specific problem right now is
Abzan Falconer vs Tuskguard Captain
If you played an entire deck of creatures that come in to play with counters. Some Small, some large. Would you rather run 4 cards that give them all trample, that give them all flying. Or two of each.
I see the benefits the both. Can't decide which is better and my playgroup had a heated argument that split us in two when I brought it up.
I also ask the question less specifically. In general would you prefer a 4/4 flyer or a 4/4 with trample for instance for the same mana cost.

Flying is more valuable, as it has evasion. If you give a 2/1 flying, it can get 2 damage in reliably. Put trample on said 2/1, you have gained pretty much nothing...

If I go both I have only half the chance of drawing either when I need it. If I do four of both that's a lot of cards dedicated to improving other cards.

Both have their ups and downs. Assuming you are talking about Outlast critters, I would main Trample and side Flying or find a way to have both. All depends on your match ups but I say if you're able to a few things down with a load of counters on them trample should keep them on the defense to soak up as much as they can. Flyers can be blocked by little 1/1 thopters... so doesn't matter how big they are, unless they have trample nothing is getting through. As I said though Flying has it's uses so use to your own discretion.

I'm going to say Flying, so that you can block other fliers.

If you're deck is going wide with many outlast creatures than flying is the way to go. Possibly for blocking but I think for offensive purposes. You control the game till you have all your dudes ready and then make them all fly over and kill them. Do you have a decklist posted?

It all depends on what you are up against. Personally, I'd like both such as featured by Dragonlord Atarka, but sometimes that is not always attainable.
If I were to pick one, it would be flying as it is more versatile both offensively with complete evasion and defensively allowing you to block opposing fliers.
