Anything goes as long as it’s cheap and isn’t monored goblins. It’d be nice if it used a razaketh, the foulblooded or maybe a Muldrotha, the Gravetide. Thank You

Mono black good stuff is never a bad option imo. Prob wont win you the pro tour but it should put up good results at your lgs

I’ve been having success with a blue red auras deck. That you can find here:I’ve been having success with a blue red auras deck. That you can find on . The only rares in the deck are the lands so it’s very cheap.

If you want to play those two cards though you might have to be willing to come up on price. Muldrotha requires 3 colors which always means more money for your mana base and both muldrotha and razaketh require powerful targets to be good which is also more money sadly.

Ugh sorry I can’t format correctly. You can find it on my YouTube page. Just look for JBuzzCuzz or search for “Eat your heart our mono-red [U/R Auras Gameplay]-M19 Arena Standard.

if I were you, I'd wait a month or two until rotation shakes out the Standard format. UB and tribal Ixalan are good themes to commit to right now, though, since they lose the least from rotation.

Why do you specifically not want monored goblins?

Hey, out of the two choices you named you can get more play out of Muldrotha, the Gravetide because it doesn't rotate from Standard Oct. 5th. Razaketh does rotate; if you build a deck now around the Demon then you'll only get two months to play it. If you don't care about only having two months of playing Razaketh then consider a mono-black Demon reanimation direction with Rise from the Grave?

If you want a low budget deck however than three color Sultai with Muldrotha is not the direction to go because a three color playable manabase with dual lands is not cheap. If the manabase expense is something you don't care able then Muldrotha with ramp, explore and creatures with good ETB abilities is a direction with Journey to Eternity  Flip to consider since all the cards can be budget and for post rotation.

In Guilds of Ravnica, the next set for Standard, Golgari and Dimir are guilds in the set. These are two of the three guilds that make Sultai which means there's going to be support for Sultai colors.

A mono colored deck is by far the cheapest option because then you don't have to spend money on dual lands for the manabase. If you don't like red then how about green? Mono green is becoming a monster deck in Standard and post rotation it will be one of the best surviving decks. If you like green, big creatures and attacking it's a safe option. Current mono green can be adapted to be budget without Ghalta, Primal Hunger.

Orzhov Knights can be another safe budget option. All Knights are from Dominaria or M19, all are safe post rotation. Knights can be adapted to be budget without History of Benalia or Ajani. If you would like help making a deck of any of these suggestions let me know I'll help.

I quite enjoy my WB vampires deck nothing particularly out there as there is many decks like it Bloodsuckers (updated it from private today). I find this deck can be very effective especially against other aggro decks it is a little slower but has alot of lifegain and also lots of card draw. This allows you to survive and outlast aggro decks and hopefully rush lategame. I have been tring out walk the plank rather than varaska's contempt a bit more due to Ghalta and Shalai (I hat Shalai) and how efficient walk the plank can be.

I find occasionally it can be unreliable as the 4 mana slot is so vital (being stuck on 3 mana can kill you). My version runs quite a few lord effects due to goblin chain whirler I normally side deck some out if they are not playing mono red (that is due to my meta them being so popular). you can make a budget version of the deck and also a rotation proof version.

rotation proof:

Concealed Courtyard out for basics

Fatal Push out for Cast Down (or maybe Walk the Plank)

Gifted Aetherborn out for Dusk Legion Zealot or Adanto Vanguard

Metallic Mimic out for Dusk Legion Zealot (unless you need the lords for chainwhirler)

budget version

make above changes but also swap Vraska's Contempt for Walk the Plank or Never//Return #

I hope this helps I would recommend it as it can be competitive and fun.

Other standard decks I would recommend if you are interested please ask:

Mono Blue standard storm STORM (ish)

(Aetherflux Reservoir :) very fun and is turning out to be quite potent) Rakdos Burn

(Guttersnipe, Shock, Flame of Keld ect.

you probably now know what the deck does already)
