Help about new player

Hello, (I prevent, i'm french so escuse my mistakes)So, I played Magic casually with friends two years ago. And now i wan't to play again in some events. I hear standards events are funniest for me.Anyway, I have a moderate budget and I really don't know what are the deck of the moments.I want ur help to advise me for a funny/strong deck to participate at some events.My favorite features in magic are Artefacts, favorite colors : but I'm not close to any proposittions.Thank u :)
You can also use the deck search here on tappedout. Just pick standard as the format, pick blue as the color and then filter the search by views or scores. That would at least help narrow down your search a little bit!

I Would mean a deck not to tryhard just to play with pleasure and without lose every games.I already Search on tappedout but they are so many deck _ and I would like to have few advise from good and experienced player.So I will search and Come back when I find something to show u.

I have the most fun for my money at pre-release events. Other formats (except casual/kitchen table) just cost too much for the budget conscious IMO, unless you only mind winning occasionally.
What is your budget?

I actually crossed standard deck during 2 Hours and i see soooo many interresting card but never THE deck. So i'm little disappointed. If u had some proposition I take :DThanks

Since you're also looking at a budget of 80. I think you could add 'budget' to your search too! I'll look up some and get back to you!

Hello, yesterday i play my little tournament and i win some games :) So, i have another question, origin edition are accepted in T2 ?

My guess is that you're asking if the Origins block is still accepted in Standard?
It depends on the individual card, the block as a whole is no longer Standard legal, but if some of the cards have been reprinted recently in a block that is Standard legal, then you can use those specific cards.

@GearNoir, you bring up a question I had. Can I play lands in my Standard deck from old sets? I like some of the older lands better then the Kaladesh, Shadows, etc lands.

Lands are subject to the same legality rules. Basic lands are always reprinted, so it's unlikely we'll ever have to worry about them (so yes, you can use basic lands from any block). Other lands that are not normally printed on a regular basis (for instance snow-covered lands and other non-basic lands) should be checked through Gatherer.

In terms of strong decks, I would use mtgtop8.com for all your net decking needs!
