Help me make a new Standard Grixis deck

Working on a dragonless Grixis control deck for Standard that uses my trusty friend Disciple of the Ring for post rotation.
Looking for some suggestions from you all what cards that first come to mind that you would use in a Grixis Control deck (with said creature as your win-con). The only eight creatures in my deck are (at least based on my current plan) four-ofs for Jace the Standard Sculptor and Ms. Disciple.
Any suggestion on a spell base or mana base or whatever would be appreciated. I'd share my deck but it's just a mass chaos of cards I've been throwing on there that seem good.
Side note: I'm also heavily debating the validity of Startled Awake Flip. Is it worth using in a general control variant? Or should it stay with it's mill friends?
