So with Amonkhet's revival of the Cycling mechanic, along with cards that reward discarding and madness all in standard right now I feel like there's the making of good deck based around discarding, benefiting from cycling/discarding, and then maybe using madness to play what you just discarded.
I'm looking for input on how to make this work (or if it would really work). From what I can tell, the colors that work best for what I have planned are Blue/Black.
The stars of this deck that started getting me thinking were:
Cards that I'm thinking should definitely be in deck:
The problem I'm having here is there seems to be so many cards that COULD go well with the theme, but I'm not sure if they are actually good or are trap picks, so I was hoping for other card suggestions, as well as the amount that would be wise to run in the deck.

I had thought about using Forgotten Creation in the deck, but for some reason, the thought of using it in combination with Shadow of the Grave never occurred to me. That's an amazing combo.
What do you think about running Throne of the God-Pharaoh in a deck like this?

Seems less than good. Its dead unless you're making a ton of tokens, and at that point, you're probably winning anyway. My list is pretty rough (haven't had much time lately to brew/tune). Here it is for reference:

Seems very mana intensive, the Creation + Shadow sounds fun though. I think the.beanpole's got the right idea here, unless you can find a way to ramp or stall until you can get setup.

I started working on a deck like this. Forgotten Creation + Shadow of the Grave is preeeeeetty sick, especially with a Drake Haven or Faith of the Devoted out.
