I'm faily new to magic so my knowledge is not that good when it comes to putting the right cards in my deck. So if anybody could help me improve this deck I would appreciate it.
Help Improving massedranksdeck
The first thing that I'm thinking about changing is the 2x Aven Tactician for 2x Dromoka, the Eternal.
I feel that the deck lacks some good sorcery, instants, and maybe low mana creatures. So on the maybe pile I placed some cards that seemed good to me, but I don't know how I could put them on the deck, which cards should i take out? If you know cards that would be better that the ones i found i would also appreciate it
My goal is to improve the deck i have, a Dragons of tarkir Massed ranks intro deck, Without spending an outrageous amount of money, not much more than 20$. Have in mind that some cards "currently on my deck" I don't own, I just placed them cause I intend to change them, I only have the cards that came with the intro pack, Neither do I own any of the cards on the maybepile. So most of the cards there are changeable, for instance if Sunscorch Regent would be better in this deck than Arashin Sovereign. I would happily buy 3 or 4 of those and trade them with the Arashin, I just want to make the best deck possibly with a tight budget, but if the deck could be a lot better with giving 10$ more than my current budget I would also like to know about it.
Cheers

Thanks man, it looks cool. Well i can go a little over the 20$ mark if it is justified. How do you think this deck would hold on a friday night magic?

Hello! Welcome to the Tappedout community. In general we're a pretty good group. If you have any questions on anything feel free to ask me.
Now to your deck!
Bolster is not a mechanic that currently sees high level play. The main reason for this is that it forces you to commit time, recourses, and mana to make one creature a little bigger. The problem with this is that one removal spell, like Hero's Downfall leaves you at a serious tempo disadvantage.
G/W Budget Counters is my attempt to fix this, whilst still remaining true to the +1/1 counter theme. The price was about 23 dollars, but it sounded like you didn't mind going a little over. Take a look, then tell me what you think.

Thanks guys, im thinking about going at max to something like 35$.I'm also thinking about leaving this deck like this, and investing the money in a black deck built from scratch. Since i don't believe i can turn this one into a great deck. So does anybody thinking that i can make a good blackdeck in the 15-30$ range?

A few good budget bolster cards:
Sandcrafter Mage (W)
Dromoka's Gift (G)
Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit (W)
Abzan Advantage (W)(Abzan Advantage can be castes even if the opponent doesn't control an enchantment.)

Ben, by the way, tooTimid's deck will be standard legal when Origins comes out. Then you will be able to use it as a tournament deck.

I've played GW bolster and I've found Bow of Nylea to be very strong. It really helps with Hornet Nest tokens, buffs your creatures, gives you game against burn, and makes your attacks much more threatening against frequently larger creatures. It's a very flexible card. Abzan Falconer was also helpful as a way to get past opposing green decks and gets large quickly if you have Hardened Scales.

The only one on the maybedeck that io don't own is the Bow of Nylea i placed it there by mistake cause I may get it some time soon
