How do I beat Sphinx's Tutelage with Mono Black

I need suggestions on possible solutions to Sphinx's Tutelage. I'm thinking of what deck I want to use for Game Day and I really like this Mono Black deck. I know for a fact that one person at my LGS will be playing a Sphinx's Tutelage during Game Day. Other than just hoping I don't play him, what can I do to beat it? Thank You

I played against Tutelage Control before BFZ dropped and found eliminating the problem before it has time to do anything is the best route. For targeted discard Duress is in standard as well as Nightsnare but its not as good as Duress

You can also try Orbs of Warding.
Then it can't target you and you won't have to exile any cards.

That as well is a good card Argeaux, only issue with it is Smash to Smithereens is the best artifact hate (just my opinion) in Standard atm and Orbs just screams
"SMASH ME!!!"

Yes, but this is why you do what I used to and run 4x Orbs of Warding and 2x Cranial Archive to try to keep at least 1 Artifact on the field.

It'll probably just end up with me running a playset of Duress in the sideboard, but I'll play test with Cranial Archive and Orbs of Warding before Game Day. Thanks for the help everyone.

I understand your point mate. The majority of Tutelage decks I have seen were either U/R or B/U/G and Cranial Archive + Orbs of Warding would wall them both efficiently but Duress is still great as a 4 of for support

The only card I can think of is Cranial Archive.
