My deck is an adaptation from my mono black kill control to dimir control. KILL COUNTER SMASHER!

I havent played blue counters in standard other than draft so i need input from (swallows pride and mumbles) blue control players. Lol

Turn aside is bad, negate is the best in the format, clash of wills is also good, void shatter is probably the best for 3 mana, invasive surgery is good when it has something key to hit, and summary dismissal is the anti-eldrazi cast trigger as well as anti haunted dead shenanigans. Imagine dismissal on the pariah flip trigger, lol! "No, just you sac 3 creatures, that'd be great."

Dispel is good but sometimes not as high impact as surgery can be, depends what you're up against. I've been punished for boarding it in at times. I'd leave one mana counters in the sideboard and only bring them in if they're going to hit either a huge win condition/combo piece in the deck, (like collected company, dark petition, rise from the tides, crush of tentacles, ect,) but if you just want to blank instant cast removal, having 4 negates is better; that way if they don't draw the removal you can still counter sorceries/enchantments and planeswalkers, or you can choose what they resolve, rather than being like, "well this is an instant, so I'd better take my chance to use dispel because I might not get another one."
