Is Izzet Goggles better with EMN?

This is a list I made based off of the old U/R Goggles decks. I feel like a few new cards that have been spoiled for EMN really help give this deck a push in the right direction. Would love to hear what you all think could be improved about it. Also any tips for the sideboard would be appreciated. Thanks!

The problem I have with this list is that Curious Homunculus and Mercurial Geists strike me as tempo/aggro cards, while Goggles is much more of a ramp/control long game card. Not sure they belong in the same deck.

I might change this deck into more of a tempo deck and go Jeskai for Reflector Mage and Spell Queller. I would of course be taking out Pyromancer's Goggles.

Might as well wait for the whole set to be spoiled. There's not really a point in putting brewing effort into a deck that'll just change in a few days.
