Is U/B Eldrazi still a thing

Standard Deck Help forum

I have my eldrazi deck sitting around waiting to be dismantled; but I want to hear people's opinion

Right now I want to stay with U/B Eldrazi, but W/B control is really strong and the pieces for that deck are really close to get

Could use some suggestions on where to take my deck going forward

the big hitters will still be good, Reality Smasher, thought knot-seer, eldrazi mimic. I'd play a set of anguished unmaking for tempo too. I'm not sure how you feel about using your life as a resource for read the bones, but it'd be great for card draw.

Agreed; but based on what you said I should press on with W/B

Even though I like counterspells and the like....sad face

countering is great when you're looking for answers, but Eldrazi are going to be strong in this format, from an aggro standpoint. plus warping wail will shut down a lot of shenanigans from spells like declaration in stone and infinite obliteration. White removal is strong, and they become even stronger with eldrazi. Anguished unmaking and thought knot seer are awesome to have in this format together

Excellent point Erutan9

Maybe off to the side I can build a U/B zombie deck with counters

Erutan9 take a look at my deck; it's U/B control; but I want to change it to either improved U/B or shift it to W/B; while keeping the eldrazi theme. I'd like to hear your opinion on it

I think it depends on what you mean by "still a thing". It hasn't ever really been a competitive deck at high levels, but it'll still function the same way it does now.
