I've been looking into a Lifegain deck for standard for a while now because I feel like Felidar Sovereign is such a great card and the fact that a 4/6 body will be hard to get rid of and can change games with his ability. I really want to continue to look into this brew and see what I can do with it. Any help or advice on the deck would be great. Looking to go ahead and lock the curve up right and Playtesting more to get updates out for everyone.
The answer is GW ramp - ramping to Nissa's Renewal and Dragonlord Dromoka and recurring with Pulse of Murasa seems key.

I would suggest that you include Eerie Interlude in your deck as people will try to get rid of Felidar Sovereign either at the end of your turn with Anguished Unmaking, To the Slaughter, Ultimate Price, etc. or during their main phase with Declaration in Stone, Quarantine Field, etc.

Yes, somehow the card text for Felidar Sovereign does omit "Felidar Sovereign enters the battlefield with a huge target on it's head".

I have side boarded two Felidar Sovereign in my White/Green, Standard, Clues deck as an alternate win condition.
The route to lots of life is via Graf Mole and Tamiyo's Journal. As long as you have plenty of clues using the tutor ability on the Journal also sacrifices 3 clues and as an upshot gives you 9 life for each Mole you control. The tutoring also allows you to find that pesky Sovereign just when you need it.
