Hi all! I need some help breaking Naru Meha, Master Wizard. I started with a budget Mono U combo-control deck for her:
Naru Meha, Combomaster

But I want to find the best shell for her. What do you think is the easiest way to break this card?
Illusionist's Stratagem is the closest thing and you still need eight mana or cost reducers. Release to the Wind and Saheeli's Artistry both have options too but, again, those are probably more for Brawl than Standard.

Check out my deck named Loop It. I assure you; you will salivate.

This is a cool iteration that I definitely like, in fact maybe the best iteration I have seen. It is still a minimum of 7 mana and 3 cards for the infinite and only if you got the monument on the battlefield before hand. I like this version, because you can get the non-combo kill with just a bunch of Monument triggers, since Naban doubles that as well. It is a really cool deck indeed. I am just sad that the infinite combo takes so much.
It has convinced me to wait to see Core set cards before making the deck. FYI, Tempest Djinn would fit nicely in here or the SB.

So my deck contains Release and Aether flux Reservoir. It also contains Barral's Expertise with Naru Meha for infinitely casting Naru for the aether flux win. It ALSO contains sirens ruse and Sailor Means which, combined with Naban and Naru will draw as many cards as you wish AND net that much mana thanks to Sailor. This allows you to cast your wincon (mine is aether flux Reservoir) and win.

i don't think theres going to be a way to "break" her. Naru was one of my prerelease promos, and it actually pissed me off a bit. its a minimum of 5 mana if you want to copy anything when you play her and thats if you have instants/sorceries that cost 1 mana.
