Need Advice on Standard (Semi-Budget)

Current Standard deck: GW Midrange

With EMN now out, I'm heavily debating with myself what to do regarding Standard. Above is my current Standard decklist, and I'd really like to update it further and better, but I've only got a chance to get a handful of cards and I definitely don't have the resources to get Gideon, Gisela, and Thalia...despite wanting to do so. Declaration in Stone, 3 more Duskwatch Recruiters, and 2 more Sylvan Advocates would be within my budget, though.

On the other hand, I really like EMN's Emerge mechanic and would be interested in building a Sultai or Simic Emerge deck. But I'd have to buy into those colors to try and aim for an FNM-competitive decklist and GW midrange is more my "home".

I could splash for Black in my current list but outside of Anguished Unmaking I don't know what else would be good there.

On the other hand, Lumbering Falls and Kiora, Master of the Depths are pretty cheap at the moment and brewing up a Simic Emerge deck could be less expensive than I think...I think.

Please share advice. I feel kinda lost.
