Hi everyone,
With the Ixalan prerelease just over a week away, so is the departure of the BFZ, and SOI blocks from the standard format.
I've made 3 decks that I'm thinking about investing in after rotation.
So my questions are, what deck would be best with the current metagame? Also, would this change if dinosaur decks and pirate decks become a thing in standard?
Here are the decks,
1.) BW Crested sunmare (Rotation proof!!)
2.) A Majestic Token deck rotation proof!!
3.) Temur Ramp (Rotation proof!)
If there is anything I could do to improve these decks, I would love to hear your imput. All input is welcomed and appreciated.
Also, what are your plans for post rotation?
Thanks all, and good luck on the battlefield!

Leon9358, I've not thought of that, thanks for the suggestion and congrats on the fantastic performance at the FNM event!

It's a little bit tricky to advise you on the meta game post-rotation as we sort of don't REALLY learn that until after the Pro Tour.

While I definitely agree I would like to say that the meta is (suppost) to shift to more midgame and this decks worst matchup, mono black zombies, is losing a lot of cards so I'm looking foreword

RDW is going to get stronger post-rotation, with the addition of Lightning Strike.
It's really difficult to predict the meta prior to the Pro Tour.
It usually ends up being filled with decks we never even thought about.
The only time I picked it was when I predicted that would make a resurgence.

While I don't think my deck will be top tier I know it's worst match up is going away so I am still very excited

You might want to turn the Myriarch deck into a U/G ramp deck mine, Nissa Ramp Ver1.3 (Help Wanted), just went 3/1 at my fnm and went to game 3 against mono black zombies AND is rotation proof. I strongly recommend you consider this.
