This is what I converted my U/W Control deck into in order to make up for White's weaknesses in Origins. I would like some help with the numbers of cards, and utilizing black to its fullest potential. The sideboard could also use some help, as I have no idea what I'm doing with it. I want the sideboard to help me against aggro/control and to provide more bounce if needed to Demonic Pact. Thank you.

NOTE- No Theros/M15 cards please. This deck is likely going to be finished in late August/September, so I won't be able to play with Theros cards for long.

I guess I don't understand why you wouldn't use Dissolve. It's like a 50 cent uncommon, even if you only get to play with it for a month it's so much better than cancel.

It's a $1 uncommon. Why would I waste $4 if I could buy something that makes the deck much better, like a Demonic Pact or a Caves of Koilos.

Because Demonic Pact is not actually a playable card. Every deck running white and green (and considering that both Abzan decks of all types, and G/W Company decks are both dominating decks in the format, there are a lot of them) are running Dromoka's Command in force, you are never going to get much value out of that.

Also, you have only two ways to get rid of it yourself, the two Erase's. So if you don't have an Erase, the card will just sit uselessly in your hand. It's just clunky and is not going to help you much.

And spending four dollars to improve your chance of winning with the deck over the course of the next few months seems pretty reasonable.

Lastly, control decks don't want pain lands.

I think you didn't read the description of the deck, where I clearly stated that the 3 Disperse are in the deck solely for the purpose of bouncing Demonic Pact so I can get more value out of it. Also, I have counterspells.

Although Caves of Koilos is not good for Control decks, I intend to use it only when I need color fixing in the early game. I will probably lose at most 3-4 life in a game when I'm using them.

I'm not trying to be mean, i'm just trying to help you optimize your deck. Running cards that do nothing other than bounce or get rid of demonic pact gets rid of the whole purpose of the card advantage from demonic pact. On top of that, you need to tap out and drop counter spell shields to be even able to cast the thing. You could just be running counter spells and removal instead. It just doesn't seem like it's going to be effective.
