Post Rotation Aggro Help and Speculation

So, in a slower standard, how will aggro fair? I think we all understand that it wont be as fast as it has been before, but the question on my mind is it going to fall under BfZ Allies or KoT something or another? I'm just getting back into the format after a break when Khans hit, I'm familiar with the cards but not the decks.

Here is my current list for Allies, Zada's Zendikar

any input or speculation on how viable aggro even is is greatly appreciated!

Mono-Black, Rakdos Aggro, RDW, Goblins, W/X Allies, Abzan Aggro, Jeskai Aggro. I'm currently playing mono-red and it is still very viable:

I believe that the new Drana could spark a new Mardu aggro deck. She is so overpowered it's not even funny. Her with Monastery Swiftspear, Zurgo Bellstriker, Bloodsoaked Champion, Lightning Beserker and all of those other aggro staples will be very fun to play.

I think aggro will still be very much alive. There are a bunch of good cards in BFZ to support it. Will we see turn 3/4 wins like RDW has been pulling off in this last Standard? Porbably not, but I don't think that is going to be an issue.

I do agree with Mojopowell that mardu will be strong. I am myself going to update my Mardu deck. In my meta it fairs pretty well, and I think most aggro deck should run Outpost Siege that card is so good. Half the games I win at my FNMs with my mardu deck are because of the fuel this card provides.

RG Landfall aggro seems quite possible. Slab Hammer seems clunky at first, but it actually enables the whole deck IMO. Makes for really explosive plays with spell lands and Atarka's Command/Swell of Growth. I'm sure most folks will want to take RG Landfall to a less sleek ramp shell to play with Omnath though.... Too bad

RB Aggro utilizing Smothering Abomination and Liliana, Heretical Healer I think is a very real possibility. I have a list I've put together I am still testing, but man it seems good. In case anyone was wondering, Smothering Abomination and Hangarback Walker is great.

Looks like it'll be fine. I'm not going to be playing my aggro deck anymore because rotation and the prevalence of colorless creatures is kind of neutering it, but the archetype in general has more than enough to work with.

I think that a Jund Aggro list would be good. With the new Drana, Scythe Leopard, Forerunner of Slaughter and all the other good red aggro creatures already.

The best aggro deck will be the G/X Hardened Scales deck. You have Servant of the Scale and Warden of the First Tree as early game beaters, Hangarback Walker and Undergrowth Champion and Managorger Hydra as midgame beaters and top end of Woodland Wanderer or perhaps Collected Company, depending on your build.

Worth noting that Woodland Wanderer will not get a counter from Hardened Scales. Still good, though.

Actually, it will. That is why it is one of the best cards for the archetype.
