so i am completely stumped on the madness vampire match up i run into with my deck, it seems unless i get the nut hand my only option is to bend the knee. my (current deck seems to stugggle when thing or reflector mage gets blasted by a lightning axe and then they use that to drop a incouragable youths or blood mad vampire on the board, and also gaining the ability to drop either of them from heir to falkenrath. i am definately open to suggestions to this match up as i had two back to back rounds against it tonight and got washed both games and this is the only deck i've seen thus far that has provided an issue. many thanks friends :-)

Focus on removal. Prioritize the fliers and try to stonewall the ground dudes. The vamp deck runs out of gas very quickly. It's harder to be specific because there isn't a set list out right now but Languish is one card that annihilates them no matter what.

Yes, VampireArmy is correct. Basically madness gives everything in your hand flash, and the opponent can lose their hand very quickly. If you can elimanate their threats, then you can take over the game, and the opponent won't have any cards to respond with.

Duress seems good in the sideboard, to take out Lightning Axes, Call the Bloodline, and Avacyn's Judgment or Fiery Temper when the don't have the mana to make them run out of gas. Plus it is good in other matchups. I would run 2 in the sideboard. Another good card is Flaying Tendrils becuase it kills none of your creatures and a lot of theirs. But Languish is still the best.

i would also take out 1 or 2 of the anguished unmakings for Clash of Wills
