Can a GW deck using Hardened Scales and +1/+1 counters replace the heroic strategy with the help of Origins? Check this out and let me know what you think!!
That is true, and I know we can't predict what will come, so I guess I will phrase my question differently.... Can this be a viable replacement strategy for heroic in Origins standard?

The GW Bolster deck (Hardened Scales, Anafenza, Kin-Tree Spirit, etc...) is already a thing, not a popular or "big" thing, but it is a thing. And I have seen several people pilot those decks. It is possible to get that deck to be quite competitive. I would suggest however, is to explore a way to make GW into Abzan, because it gives you so many tools. It allows you to play both Anafenza's which are both great in growing your creatures. It also allows you to sculp the deck better with better removal, and it also can help you sculp the deck into almost designing what you want to Bolster on every single time. Especially since black is getting some great cards from Origins, it might be worth looking into making it an Abzan deck.

Scales can be used in various applications. Renowned, X's, Outlast, Bolster, and effects that Move counters. It could be something but don't crowd it and remember to include answers for things and not just focused solely on +1/+1 counters.

After rotation, we'll have Battle for Zendikar, a set that we know zero cards for. There's no way of knowing what will be available as a viable strategy past rotation.
