Hey everyone,

So I'm having issues believing this sites legality for cards with standard format. Why is it that at the moment the offical MTG website says nothing about there being illegal cards for Standard? Wouldn't they say something about what is allowed and not allowed, but no it says nothing is banned. Can someone clarify?

Legal on this website doesnt mean banned or unbanned if they are eternal cards they are just not legal that doesnt mean banned. There are also some that are listed as illegal accidentally and yeago is trying very hard to make evrrything right so if you have an issue tell him or one of the admins so they can fix it.

Something that is banned is found in a format-legal set but specifically cannot be used.

The updating to T/O's card database is usually manual, meaning things can be forgotten and it takes time to change things. When in doubt, check Gatherer for card legality.

Currently, Standard is comprised of Dragons of Tarkir, Magic Origins, Battle for Zendikar, Oath of the Gatewatch, and Shadows over Innistrad. There are no banned cards.
