Standard Deck Help forum

Seeing the new guilds of ravinia mechanics and liking the way undergrowth and surveil could work together for a cool midrange deck. I'm wondering if I could make something work with or without muldrotha, but I haven't played standard in a long time, so I was wondering if anyone else is looking at making a deck like this, and if they could point me in the right direction

I haven't messed around with the archetype yet but I'm guessing the trick is to pick a direction and build for it's advantages.
Cards with the overgrowth keyword tend to be quite strong but only work if your graveyard is packed with creatures. I'm seeing a lot of midrange decks that jam creatures into the graveyard with Stitcher's Supplier and Glowspore Shaman in the early game and win with literally any graveyard payoff imaginable.
Wildgrowth Walker Jadelight Ranger decks are still fine and work a little better when you're priced into having payoffs that work with only 1 or 2 creatures in the yard. The advantage there is explore creatures are better as creatures but don't have the ability to self mill to quite the extreme degree as some of the new guilds of Ravnica cards to.
Working surveil in isn't that tricky. There are quite a few competitively costed cards that surveil but not that many good surveil payoffs (besides generic graveyard matters of course). I could see someone running some number of Blood Operative in sultai although I imagine the best place for it is getting incidental self mill value off of the occasional Thought Erasure or Price of Fame.
In terms of Muldrotha, the Gravetide, Izoni, Thousand-Eyed could be better in the slot but like it depends on the build I guess.
