Standard Deck Help forum

I have been playing temur aggro for a almost a year now. This is my current build and it won 1st place on gameday and many times 4-0 FNM. I need some help, Ashcloud Phoenix this card is a very solid flyer. It trades with most dragons, survives and has often gotten me a lethal win. Yet with the popularity of magma spray I need to take it out. What should I replace it with?1) Temur Ascendancy2) Sarkhan, the Dragonspeaker http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/updated-temur-draggo/This is my current deck, please let me know if you have any suggestions. I will be taking this deck to the GP Prague in a couple of days.

Temur? You poor, poor person. Why would you dedicate your time and money to temur, of all the five clans : /

On a more serious note, there aren't that many good new aggro cards that fit your build from Origins.

If you wanted to go more midrange, I would say 2 more Stormbreath Dragons, a set of Hangarback Walkers, and maybe 2 Nissa, Vastwood Seer.

I wanted more storm breath but I am waiting until after the rotation to fully update or even abandon the deck. I would love to take it into midrange but I am sticking with aggro right now. Do you have any suggestions whether I should currently replace ashcloud with ascendancy or sarkhan?

I'd say sarkhan, because you want to replace creatures with creatures if you have the right amount already. Also, TEMUR YAY. I play a See the Unwritten based deck myself.

But ascendancy is such a card advantage, it's a difficult decision, but thanks! Can I see your see the unwritten deck?

Sure, its Post-rotation though. Temur Eldrazi, minus the, uh, Eldrazi. Hmmm.
