Ulvenwald Hydra in R/G Eldrazi Ramp?

Hello,

In testing, Ulvenwald Hydra has been a valuable part of my list. It helps get to Ulamog, and can fetch utility lands in the process. In addition, it is a solid beater that stonewalls flyers (I'm looking at you Avacyn). Here it is for reference:

My question: Is it worth it to keep the hydra in the list? I think that it has great potential, but I greatly appreciate feedback and suggestions. Thanks!

My value creature that stalls me until I can cast Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger is Dragonlord Atarka, because that takes some pressure off me, even in the face of a removal spell, but the hydra seems cool.

Here's my ramp deck for ideas: Atarka's Archive (SOI G/R Ramp).

Good luck to you, fellow ramp player.

I run Hydra in my naya ramp list. ramp into Dragonlord Dromoka or Dragonlord Atarka or Ulvenwald Hydra as early as turn 4 and Ulamog, the Ceaseless Hunger as soon as turn 5.

The hydra is very strong and is greatly dangerous in Standard as it can scale up with the more ramping via land retrieval you do. A turn 4 7/7 that will only get larger next turn is pretty intimidating.

Not to mention he can get you any land you want (Like Westvale Abbey  Flip)
