What deck should I play?

Hey, I am a longtime modern and EDH player looking to get into standard. I want a deck to play that isn't too spiky, but can still hold its own (for example, zombies will be everywhere, so I don't want to play it). any suggestions as to upcoming deck would be great! Also, the cheaper the better.
Forgot to mention: And if you're looking for Wurms, keep an eye out for RG Stompy ... it's looking like it may have potential. And would allow you to run Greater Sandwurm and Sandwurm Convergence!

Electrostatic pumeller looks really good now with onward to victory and fling in amonkhet. That and atog are both really cheap to build

Standard is going to change significantly when Amonkhet releases on April 28th, so it's REALLY hard to say. Best advice is probably to keep an eye on the Standard metagame page at MTGgoldfish (especially the budget decks towards the bottom).
That said though, what are your favorite decks in Modern and commanders in EDH?
