Where in God's Name Does Tamiyo Fit?

Frankly, I've been digesting this card since it came out. On paper it looks like it has this secret untapped power level.
But my best conclusion it's SB card for now until CoCo rotates. Idk. I still think it's viable. Checked tappedout and didn't see anything really.
The best use of it I found was from Pthance's deck:
Tamiyo's Spirit Friends, which I think was a really nice original idea.
Anybody else have some ideas?
Bant aggro without CoCo is almost as strong as with CoCo and that is where Tamiyo fits. Played against that deck Friday night and it's legit

Delta-117 - how did it play. was really thinking about making something like it.
capriom85 - Maybe I was too hung up on CoCo but I've wondered the same thing. Hell, it does so much for Bant's options. Interested if there was any particular card choices beyond the norm? Right now I'm feeling traditional CoCo creatures with maybe a twist that likes Taimoyo

Well, I have made a bant spirit control style of deck, and tamiyo fits more or less right in. She really helps drawing cards, plus if she ever hits 7, you can do anything you want. Granted, I despise that that are starting to make 3 colour planeswalkers when so many dual combo's only have 2 ( except Red green. They have like 4 or 5). Regardless, if put in the right build, she can wreck shop, then re-build it 5 times.

It's pretty stock Bant CoCo, just minus CoCo. It had Trackers, Quellers, Mages, etc. Little bit of counter magic to mess with your opponent. I believe I saw Traverse in the to dig a bit. It was the only deck that beat me all night, which is kinda saying something because a lot of guys were piloting top 8 lists

capriom85 - thanks. not to pester you but did you see Oath of Nissa? I've tried it in CoColess bant and it didn't seem like what it wanted. Perhaps you noticed it and/or had an impression on it's effectiveness.a
Ajuntoson - never thought about the tri-color / dual color imbalance (for lack of better words). It is a bit odd, I admit. Personally, I'm a fan of tri-color planeswalkers as it forces me to work in those colors. Well, bant is my fav colors for quite some time. But I agree that more dual-colors is about due.
How many Taimoyo were you packin in your build?

HairyManBack, no pester at all! Now that you mention it, Oath of Nissa was most definitely present. I talked to the guy a lot about how he put it together: he says Oath lets him keep so many hands that he would otherwise pitch to a mulligan. Short a land? Got it covered. Wish you had another creature? Done. Perfect land draw but no Tamiyo or other Walker you want? Covers that as well. It's really versatile. The cards I 100% remember seeing are: Spell Queller, Reflector Mage, Tireless Tracker, Sylvan Advocate, Oath of Nissa, Traverse the Ulvenwald, all the appropriate lands, Tamiyo, Field Researcher, Nissa, Vastwood Seer Flip. I can't recall the removal suite, but I would imagine Declaration in Stone was in there. Also, Archangel Avacyn Flip and Selfless Spirit! Avacyn was main, I think the spirit was sideboard against my sweepers, but who knows. Hope this helps.

HairyManBack- In my deck, I run 2 tamiyo to better my chances of drawings her, but not in quick succession. If you want to see how the deck itself works, it is All of your fun are belong to me.(Bant spirits)

Bant dragons seems promising for her. I just don't know if a tempo shell with more creatures or a control shell with emphasis on ojutai and dromoka is the way to go. I wouldn't be opposed to a 4/5 color dragons deck either, although fixing may prove difficult.

I made a deck similar to the above one, besides that I'm not sure what else I would use the card for.
