Depends on what you play turn 1.

Champion of the Parish , then play Elite Inquisitor

Arbor Elf , then play Strangleroot Geist , and sideboard Elite Inquisitor for those nasty card:Geralf's Messengers and Gravecrawler s.

A deck's link would be nice to help decide.

I like Strangleroot Geist just a tiny bit more. They're both pretty awesome two drops.

Both creatures are knocked over pretty easily by 3/3 creatures, but Strangleroot Geist comes back and gives that creature something to think about next time. Elite Inquisitor is a really solid two drop, with vigilance and first strike, but his protections are slightly less relevant outside of the Innistrad block, and one spot removal is all it takes to put him down.

Zombies, however, is a big in meta right now, so you wouldn't be wrong to pick Elite Inquisitor either.

Storm Crow beats both any day.

But really, if the deck is based on yeva, at least I gathered that from the title, the elite inquisitor is a better thing to flash in past turn 3 or 4. On turn 2, you want to be playing the geist if you want to race.

@cartwheelnurd: Elite Inquisitor is not green, therefore can't flash it with Yeva
