Any thoughts on how to beat a Superfriends deck?

I played a deck last night that went out of control very quickly.
It used Saheeli Rai, Dovin Baan, Arlinn Kord Flip, Gideon, Ally of Zendikar, Tamiyo, Field Researcher, Nissa, Voice of Zendikar, and Chandra, Flamecaller to dig for pieces, make lots of Creatures, then give them all +1/+1 Counters, and an extra +1/+1 and Trample on attack.
It became overwhelming very quickly.
I was playing Speedway Fanatics.
I was able to shut down one Planeswalker with Devour in Flames, but I here were too many others to deal with.
The best game I had against it was when I was able to get all my Creatures out and start hitting he face, before it had time to set itself up.
Any other ideas?

Reckless Fireweaver can shut down a few planeswalker when you have artifacts that enter. You could keep them in check while you go for the face of the oponent.
kanokarob In Garruk's Wake is not in the format. He's talking about.

Ah yes, missed the section we were in.
Then either the above ideas, or forgo aggro altogether and outcombo them.

I'd still play black and play ruinous paths and to the slaughter.

Not really seeing that Reckless Fireweaver is the answer to the problem, but I'll do some tests with it.
I don't see that Negate is going to do anything that Overwhelming Denial does, other than being cheaper.
With a Planeswalker or two hitting the field every turn it's not a very effective strategy. I need something that I can do to repeatedly to shut them down.
I wasn't looking to build an entirely different deck as this is the only Superfriends deck I've ever played against in my two something years of Magic.
My current deck is crushing the local meta, and I did take one game from Superfriends.
Was more looking for general strategy and/or different card choices in my colours.

you can't really do more in mono red other than being agressive as hell and hoping you race then. You already have Sky Soverign, you can't really do more.

I am not actually mono . I have a splash of in the Sideboard.
Yeah the Skysovereign, Consul Flagship does work well.
Maybe I just need to add more Counter spells and take out the Devour in Flames.

Negate is never a bad/dead card. I'd play it over the surge spell. I'm sure that one costs 2UU nearly 90% of the time.

I mean for an aggro deck and vehicles to boot your best strategy is to out race them since otherwise there isn't much to be done. I ran into a deck like this online while running my grixis version of BR zombies and all I did was once I realized they wanna windmill slam down walkers I tried to time my reanimations to deal with them and target one down as soon as it dropped. And having black in the deck was nice for siding in Transgress the Mind which did wonders since the information helped plan my lines that much more. So my advise since adding an extra color isn't reasonable is to do your best to just beat face as quick as possible and if they drop one walker down pick it off first so it doesn't get outta hand if that's reasonably doable

Argeaux,
Hmmm, Copter is normally more than enough to keep the 3-Loyalty Planeswalkers down ... maybe consider running a full set? Of course that'll throw off your Creature-Vehicle balance, so IDK ...
Disperse is another nice Blue option too. As others have pointed out, Negate is probably better in most decks. But if a little tempo swing is all you need to regain the initiative, it may be worth a look.

Yeah dan8080 you just confirmed the conclusion I came to.
I think where I went wrong the other night was sticking more control in to deal with the 'walkers, removing stuff like Start Your Engines, when what I should have done was leave the deck as it was, maybe just taking out the Cultivator's Caravan and two Mountains for Devour in Flames.
Then not even worry about trying to kill the Planeswalkers, but rather going full aggro to the face.

OR, just control them ... I think mono blue is the best color in this format... The shenanigans one can do with Torrential Gearhulk and Metallurgic Summonings, are sick! On the other hand, if you are so desperate about playing your deck, just go full agro and hope they don't have an answer.Last but not least, you cannot expect your deck to win everyone... It is plain stupid most of people I see at my LGS, try to build the best deck. There is no best deck or colour . ALWAYS expect someone to have a deck that counters yours

Interesting choice of words "desperate to play your deck".
I play my deck because it always ends up in the Top 4, and is an interesting deck to pilot.
I'm not interested in building another deck, mostly due to the extra cost.
You agreed with the aggro suggestion. That is what I will aim to do next time.

Argeaux I am not going to start a dispute right here... I always ends up top 4, in YOUR lgs... What I am saying, is that there is not a good or bad deck in mtg. There are just people that can afford 4x chandras and others that cannot.Eventually, there will be decks brewed that can beat you in a jiffy. Happens to all of us. Chill.

Took out 2x Mountains and 2x Cultivator's Caravan and beat the Superfriends deck easily.
