With the perfect 8 cards, you could get Garruk, Caller of Beasts out and -3 him for Worldspine Wurm in hand.

Or when M15 came out you used Jalira, Master Polymorphist to sac it and get another one.

There were actually a couple of ways. But yea, Garruk was a usual choice

While we're on the topic of cheating Green fatties into play, it's a damn shame that Craterhoof Behemoth and Garruk, Caller of Beasts were only in Standard together for a few short months. Can you imagine the old Green Devotion decks with that as a finisher? F*ck Worldspine Wurm lol.

Cause standard players would know what I'm talking about while modern players are less likely.

Necro, But the turn two thing was.
T1 R/G Land Elvish Mystic.
T2 Use Mystic and land to cast BTE, Use the 2 floating to cast another BTE. Play a Nykthos, Shrine to Nyx, Use two floating to make 5 Green mana.
Play Garruk win the game :/

I can drop him turn 3 in an elf deck. T1: Forest-Arbor Elf. T2. Forest, Overgrowth and then overgrowth again OR elvish archduid. (Untap the forest with overgrowth using Arbor Elf. T3: Tap Forest with over growth, untap with arbor elf, tap again. Use Dramatic Entrance Bam Worldspine Wurm
