Anyone else think that Icefall Regent is freaking amazing!?

Icefall Regent is like a slightly weaker flying Frost Titan... But the tap down ability just lasts and lasts!

I'd rather play torrent elemental and that's not even that good.

So let me ask you a question. Would you rather have:

a) a 4/3 creature that hits one CREATURE, that's in bolt range, and that has flying

b) a 6/6 creature that hits ANYTHING when it enters or attacks, that's way out of bolt range, and that costs one more mana.

Now that question is your choice.

Standard doesn't have bolts. Or frost titans.

I think he can be decent in the right deck. Definitely great in limited.

It's a cool card, reminds me of Dungeon Geists. Still, I doubt it will see lots of play.

Also comparing this to Frost Titan is wrong, the titans were designed for a different meta where every color could use their titans to win. Currently there is very little in Standard that does this effect, although I'd personally rather just run Banishing Light and be done with it.

It's a mediocre-sized creature, and the tapdown effect isn't awful. It's like Dungeon Geists 2.0, basically. It may not see play, but it's abilities sync up well.
