I'm thinking maybe something with a few bounce-effects like Faerie Impostor and maybe Keymaster Rogue though he is pretty expensive to cast... anyone ot any bright ideas?

I used to run a mono-blue standard deck. It ran only one drops like Nivmagus Elemental , Delver of Secrets  Flip , Judge's Familiar and Wingcrafter with a whole bunch of instants. Iirc they are: 4x Dispel , 4x Syncopate , 4x Unsummon , 4x Mizzium Skin , 4x Index and 4x Thought Scour .

Lands are just islands with 2x Ghost Quarter s. The deck was quite fast too, though not quite as consistent which is the reason I took it apart but it managed to beat a friend's deck (he was playing RDW - and he won the GPT with it) three times in a row so it's not too bad. :P

(This is the only deck that I keep one land hands. xD)

You could do mono blue mill, with Sage's Row Denizen Keymaster Rogue (bounce itself for milling with denizen) Mind Sculpt Jace's Phantasm Jace, Memory Adept Rapid Hybridization AEtherize Cyclonic Rift Fog Bank Doorkeeper

Those are off the top of my head

Put in ALL the counters and bounce effects! It may not be competitive, even for an FNM, but it is blue's strength. Walls such as Fog Bank and Hover Barrier would be a good idea, too,

Here's my mono-blue Standard deck: Vulnerabilities

It focuses on rendering the opponent's spells useless and winning with the unblockable aggro of Invisible Stalker or makes an army with Talrand, Sky Summoner .
