Archangel of Thune in Dega?

I have been tinkering with Dega midrange. I like Archangel of Thune a lot, but I'm not sure it can be played to its potential in this build. Does anyone think it is solid as a stand alone card (with other lifelink creatures in same build)? For instance...I will run Blood Baron, Nighthawk, and Fiendslayer also. I don't want to clutter the build with life gain spells and am really hoping to make her shine through lifelink...and of course Ghost Daddy.

I tested her in My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy and she really whooped some ass. I plan to add her in a few months when she's not ridiculously overpriced.

I figured she would be at least decent. Think she would be worth being played as a 4 of? I'm lucky enough to have pulled 3

Just to be clear...if I got with Archangel, Blood Baron, and Fiendslayer I the same turn I get 3 coy tere on each creature right?

Right, because you gain life on 3 instances

She's really a build-around- me type of card. You can easily stick her in an aristocrats shell, with Lingering Souls and Gather the Townsfolk to put counters on, while lightsaber paladin, nighthawk, and Blood Baron of Vizkopa enable the triggers.

White, black, and red together in a deck. Makes for a deadly combo of removal and beaters

Why is it called Dega?

Dega Disciple and Degavolver , back in Apocalypse. That was when the concept of wedge was first introduced, so people took to calling it that.
