does anyone know if there is a good azorius control deck, i can get most cards, just no planeswalkers, shocklands, or sphinx's revalation, i've been looking and seen a few good decks, but they all have shocks, walkers, and sphinx's rev
yeah... that's probably not going to happen, if you want to win all the things you can't get would be musts.
I could be distantly possible that there could be an azorius control deck that doesn't run such things, but it likely hasn't been fleshed out and tested, maybe a deck that controls while building up a white devotion, Sphere of Safety and heliod could be a fun combination.

As Gavin Verhey says: "Budget doesn't need to mean making a worse version of a current deckit just means building toward an archetype that has easier-to-obtain cards."

Control and budget doesn't go hand in hand in the current meta.

what chief said. You can probably get by without the Supreme Verdict while using like Planar Cleansing or something
but sphix rev helps out with life and card draw so drastically its hard to over look or not use

@Enlightened_Jedi, i can get the verdicts, i already have 3, and the AEtherling and the Angel of Serenity i can get, its just the 10$+ cards i have issues with

Angel of Serenity isn't essential - don't bother getting one. It's just essential you have Sphinx's Revelation - you need card advantage, to keep drawing those counter spells and have lifegain to offset aggressive openings.
You need the walkers because you can't go creature heavy and have Supreme Verdict . You're killing yourself.

foil Archaeomancer is amazing for any azorius budget deck.

Prognostic Sphinx is amazing and costs next to nothing. The scry three is practically a draw and the built in evasion, hexproof and anti aggro stats are really good.
I play budget azorius control - basically without the sphinxes and I do pretty well at FNM's, the sphinxes I find are replacable with things like Opportunity , however because you can't rely on taking damage quite as much, you may need to add early damage mitigators like more Essence Scatter and my personal favorite, Omenspeaker .
I would however really consider getting a couple of jaces - they're bound to go down in price when the new dueling decks are released. You can probably skip the shocks if you really want - there'll be new cheaper scry lands soon

That's because you need those cards to have a top-level deck. They're staples. They provide something to the deck that other cards can't.
If you're looking to drop them from your Azorius list, you're going to need to make some radical changes to the way the deck functions.
