I'm concepting an Azorius I guess tempo-control deck but I'm a fairly garbage player and I've never given WU any kind of serious thought before (I'm a black-hearted Dimir).

What's WU all about? How does it work offensively?

Hmm. If you want to make an azorius control deck, I recommend playing a bunch of efficient creatures like Imposing Sovereign , Judge's Familiar , Precinct Captain , Lyev Skyknight , Brimaz, King of Oreskos with fairly low CMC. Then abuse Ephara, God of the Polis to generate card draw. Splash in utility spells like Spear of Heliod , Brave the Elements , Azorius Charm , Celestial Flare , Detention Sphere and the like and you have yourself a deck.

Not control, I meant tempo.

Some people tried to make Azorius Auras work. Stuff like Ethereal Armor , Aqueous Form , and the such, but I believe it's not that strong.

Blue and White are about grinding your opponent to a halt while maintaining you serious card advantage. Keep your opponent off balance with bounce spells and counters and grind the game out until you can land a decent finisher like AEtherling . It's an extremely defensive style of play.

I think Azoruis is going to get a little stronger...

Battlefield Thaumaturge combined with Heroic/Inspired creatures, and Gridlock and Glimpse the Sun God .

End of opponents turn (or before their combat), tap down all their creatures, while tapping your Inspired creatures, and getting Heroic triggers. - Then get all your Inspired triggers, and swing... repeat.
